The eighteen member Board of Directors consists of five officers, ten elected directors, and the three members of the Advisory Board. The Board of Directors deals with member proposals and resignations; financial accounts; budgets; special allocations of funds; new and ongoing projects; and monitors all activities of the club. The Rotary Club is set up in such a way that there is continuity in decision making despite the fact that the President is newly elected each year. The effectiveness is achieved by replacing only five of the elected Directors each year and having them serve for a two year term. Also, the last three past Presidents serve on the Board.
