The Brantford Rotary Club was generously hosted by The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum on Friday November 1. Our 2019 Community Airshow wrap-up meeting and luncheon were held in a beautiful conference room at the museum in Mount Hope.
The Community Charity Airshow was held at the Brantford Airport on Wednesday August 28. It was a perfect day with record crowds and an amazing line- up of talented pilots and incredible planes that wowed the crowd for hours. We heard from many of the volunteers that manned the gates saying the crowds, as they left, were thrilled and exhilarated from the day’s events and can’t wait to come back next year!  Our sponsors were very happy being part of such a tremendous show and encourage more sponsors to step forward for the 2020 Show.  But the best part was  – David Rohrer – CEO/President of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum and Co-Chair of the Community Charity Airshow and Sherry Kerr – Co-Chair, Community Charity Airshow were on hand to present Jo-Anne Flood – President Rotary Club of Brantford with a cheque for $16,000!!! All of which will go towards various agencies and projects supported by the Rotary Club of Brantford including the Lansdowne Children’s Centre and the Boys and Girls Club.
Thank you everyone for a successful and fun day.
We look forward to 2020.  Watch for updates as the 2020 Charity Airshow unfolds here and on the website at: http://www.communitycharityairshow.com
