There was great joy experienced by families at Sunday’s Rotary-Children’s Christmas Party.

 

Notwithstanding significant weather issues affecting attendance by some Rotary/Lansdowne volunteers, performers and partygoers, spirits were high as the client families enjoyed a wonderful day throughout the Centre. The help of Rotarians who volunteered during a shift, donated or were part of organizing to make it a special day was very much appreciated.

 

I will also note that we were able to 'pay it forward' by providing numerous containers of leftover perishable food to individuals in the homeless encampment behind the newest homeless shelter [former police station].

 

Thank-you so much on behalf of very appreciative families of special children with special needs.
