Its been a long time since a wrote to anybody in Canada, so I wanted to take sometime of and write you a small message... Here in the Faroese we just got our first snowfall, which is nothing compared to the fist snowfall in Canada. ;) how is the family and the Rotary club ?

Its been almost 2 years since I came home form my great experience in Canada, and since then I haven't written to any of my families. I cant give you an answer why I haven't written, but I feel the shame and guilt every time I sit in front of my computer. The shame of not having the will to take 15 minutes out of my day to write to my families. Although, I am lacy there is a English saying " better late then never," in which I promise to write more.

There are some many things I would like to tell all of you, but where start. Right now I am in my second year of "gymansium," which is something like a high school/college. The School, which I am attending is called "Fiskivinnuskúlin" and we are about 50 students all to getter. It really is a strange feeling going from a school, which had 2000 students to another school that only has 50, ironic. After I am finished with my school in the Faorese, I am applying to a University in Poland, which is a about 100 km form Berlin. The reason why I am applying to this University is because a lot of my friends are attending there and its a different experience to what I am used to in Denmark. I have really given this some thought, and not long ago, I made up my mind that I want to study medicine. My mom tells me that its a great idea, even though she says my skills are in business. I am, also planing on coming back to Brantford, in the summer of 2012 so all you can see how much I have changed in the past years. Currently, I am working as a bartender in Tórshavn, which is hard work but fun. I really like working there because I get to meet new people every time. Karine, is probably thinking "if he works as a bartender he must have a girlfriend," sorry to disappoint you Karine, but no:) the girls are not the same in the Faroese as in Canada... he he

My family is happy and are having a good time now when Christmas is a approaching. My sister Randi got married last winter and just had her second child 2 months ago. I became a uncle to a boy called "Búi" and he is just the cutest thing ever.

Rannvá, my second sister is a teacher at a different college, in Tórshavn. She is currently living with her boyfriend there as well.

Rógvi, my brother is living in Copenhagen, Denmark and is studying how to take care of children and old people, I dont what its called in English, but it takes about 4∏ in university.

Mom and Gunnar are having a good time and are planing a trip to Spain next summer.

This was a little bit about what I have been doing these past years hope you all enjoyed it. Lastly, I want to thank the families and the Rotary Clubs, for there kindness and love, which I got from day one and also for the best experience that I will probably ever have of my teen years.

Have a great Christmas and a happy new year with love Ras:)
